This Easter season my family is experiencing a new sense of joy, shadowed by some sadness. My husband Patrick who completed his PhD last year has secured a full-time teaching position after two years of searching and interviews. Praise God! The sad part is we will be leaving Boston for New Jersey so Patrick can take up his new position at Seton Hall University. Patrick will teach in the seminary to seminarians and masters students, a perfect fit for his degree in religious education. At the end of June we will move to New Jersey and begin the next chapter for our family. We are certainly living Easter joy as the new location will be much closer to our families in Connecticut and Ohio, but we also hold sadness in our hearts to leave the wonderful community Matthew 13 collaborative. The season of Pentecost is a few weeks away, a time when we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. As we move through this transition, I hope you will pray with me for openness to where the Holy Spirit might be leading. Come Holy Spirit!
